Building on the proven success of the 4Wave LTD, we worked closely with our World Cup Team to preserve its neutral character - while unlocking greater top-end control and a cleaner release through radical turns.
A soft Dacron luff panel delivers smooth and raw power to get you planing early. The forward, stable draft keeps the sail exceptionally light in your hands, giving it a precise on/off response that truly shines in wave riding conditions. Carefully optimised construction details and new materials make this sail even lighter than the LTD.
Combined with the outstanding durability that PATRIK is known for, the result is a sail built to perform session after session - no compromises.
Super strong and light 4mil "Blackline HD" X-Ply window for perfect visibility and highest impact resistance. The black yarn reduces light reflections and distractions, resulting in a clearer view that simply allows you to ride better and safer.
Changes the loose leech release behavior while keeping the profile depth untouched - independent of downhaul tension:
AWR IN: Locks draft for extra backhand power, maximum leverage, and added board traction in heavy chop, high winds, or big moves.
AWR OUT: Shifts power draft slightly forward for an agile, playful ride and radical surf feel without sacrificing early planing.
Reduces open area at the leading edge to boost aerodynamic efficiency and wind range. Limits sail movement at the boom area for improved gust stability and faster rotations. (Open a minimum of 2 sections to mount boom).
A unique concept for defining the sail profile using an interacting material mix to control load, flex and twist across the entire sail body. Rather than relying on singular load lines, the whole sail functions as one intelligent entity.
Stiff 5mil X-Ply frame at the leech for clean air release, better twist control, and added structural strength.
Light and medium stiff body for a neutral loading behavior and optimal strength-to-weight ratio.
Intelligent adaptive front section with custom load behaviour to support the individual sail characteristics best: Soft Dacron for smooth On/Off behaviour on the FLOW. 5mil X-Ply for instand drive and agression on the FLASH. Double Dacron for balanced power and a blend of FLOW and FLASH on the FUEL.
The unmatched aerodynamics and fine-tuned material load distribution of our Intelligent Load Control concept deliver added agility, more top speed, improved release and mighty low-end, while extending the overall wind range.
Pairs a wide center outline with a short boom and narrow head. The "power panel" above the boom catches cleanest airflow for controlled drive, while the narrow head ensures clean top release. As a result you get an extented windrange with mighty low-end acceleration, excellent clew-first stability and a very balanced and light handling.
Customised batten curves and batten angles adjusted to each sail sail optimise the sail behaviour in both riding and jumping. Stiffer battens above the boom lock the power forward and flatten the trailing edge to reduce drag in gusty conditions. An optimised 40mm batten width with panel overlap makes the sail perfectly symmetric and saves weight. Our new, shorter batten tensioners reduce swing weight even more.
A lightweight protection concept engineered to maximize durability while eliminating unnecessary bulk. By combining targeted Kevlar reinforcements and tailored padding, high-wear areas are fully shielded without compromising the sail's weight or responsiveness.
Visial rigging guide width "Power" and "Control" markers to define the optimal downhaul trim. Pulley threading guide for quicker gear setup.

ALESSIO STILLRICH (Pro Windsurfer)
"For me, what makes the Flow so satisfying to use is its effortless handling and the controlled power it delivers. That feeling of a forward-driven sail—pulling instantly from the front with total stability—is exactly what I look for. It gets going quickly and easily, and every time I start planing, there’s a real sense of joy having the Flow in my hands."
JOHN SKYE (R&D)
"Used within its ideal wind range, the FLOW is quite possibly the lightest and most agile wave sail on the market. Most riders love it with the AWR open, as it shifts the power further forward for an ultra-light feeling in the hands. The sail is perfect for surf-style, vertical riding and offers exceptional control during aerial rotations and heavy landings. However, if you ride the FLOW severely overpowered, its softness and power might become overwhelming. Compensate with high downhaul tension then or just be smart and change to a smaller size early! Don't get me wrong: The overall wind range is huge - just avoid riding it oversized intentionally like you could on the FLASH and FUEL!"

1) Pick your preferred mast
PATRIK RDM 100% CARBON CC: Quicker response, lighter, max performance.
PATRIK RDM 80% CARBON CC: Forgiving in chop/high wind, extra durability, budget-friendly. (RDM 60 not recommended).
Lighter riders below 60kg should consider picking the next softer mast and using a long extension for improved twist and release.
(Full performance is not guaranteed on third-party masts. Consult a PATRIK dealer before using non-PATRIK rig components.)
2) Set Aerofit Boom Positioning (ABP)
Open 2 ABP sections for optimal performance, height adjustment and a clean fit with most boom heads. If in doubt, or for added power, leave three ABP slots open.
(Height marker "0" is a good starting point for an 180cm tall rider.)
3) Choose your preferred AWR setting
Modifies release characteristics without altering sail profile or trim. Adjust on-the-fly while rigged.
* In-depth AWR explanation below
4) Set your personal downhaul tension
Set downhaul to find your preferred style (use outhaul for power adjustments). Pull until loose leech wrinkles are between the "power" and "control" markers in the top of the sail.
• Less downhaul: More forward drive, more lift, more top leverage.
• More downhaul: Softer release in top turns and big landings, more control.
5) Adjust the outhaul to set the sail's power level and directness
• Minimum setting: Batten above boom just flips with one hand; tip sits well in front of mast; sail touches boom. Maximum power and pumping ability.
• Optimal setting (+2cm tension): Batten tip is halfway behind mast; touches boom only in strong gusts. Neutral backhand, direct rotation, wide power range.
• Maximum setting (+3cm tension): Flat profile, extended high-end control, direct feel. Planing and pumping are compromised.
Important: Outhaul tension scales up and down with downhaul tension. Judge settings by overall sail shape, not spec box numbers alone.
The upper AWR Shackle acts as both high clew ring and leech adjustment system (thread rope through shackle).
The Lower Ring improves comfort at lower boom heights. It ncreases twist while retaining full AWR options (In / Out).
Bolt maintenance: Uses a standard Allen Key "3". Fully tighten before riding. Loosen regularly to apply marine grease.
DANGER: Never ride with a loose bolt or without it installed (shackle will break).
The 4 Clew Height & AWR Combinations:
1) HIGH & IN = Power + Drive | Ideal for general power wave use.
2) HIGH & OUT: = Power + Agility | Our favourite setup with max release.
3) LOW & IN = Control + Drive | Starting point for small riders.
4) LOW & OUT = Control + Agility | For smaller riders and pure down-the-line.
