PWA-WINNING SLALOM AND SPEED FOIL MACHINE
After dominating almost every foil race and major foil event throughout 2025 in the hands of Johan Søe and Justine Lemeteyer — while also securing back-to-back PWA Constructors’ titles — improving the RACE HA was never going to be easy. But the development team pushed relentlessly until the very last moment, refining every possible detail to extract even more performance from the GEN 2 sail.
The primary focus of the new design was to significantly improve the high-wind range while reducing physical effort and increasing overall stability and control. The result is a sail that remains composed and efficient in approximately 3–4 knots more wind than before, without sacrificing the exceptional low-end power that has always been one of the HA’s greatest strengths.
This was achieved with small yet highly effective updates were made to the sleeve width, clew cut-out, profile and batten configuration. Combined with several “top secret” developments, the RACE HA is ready to dominate once again.
A more refined balance between lift and downforce delivers complete control across all conditions. More control means more confidence — and ultimately, more speed.
Extensive work was also carried out on the construction itself, including updated materials and a revised reinforcement and load-distribution layout inside the sleeve. These changes create a noticeably lighter feeling in the hands, making the sail feel almost one size smaller while maintaining full race-level performance.
Dominate the fleet with the RACE HA GEN 2.

* Please note that all tops and bases within the PATRIK mast range are fully interchangeable. While advanced riders may experiment with custom bend curves by pairing different tops and bases, we recommend sticking to our standard mast combinations for optimal performance under most conditions.
The construction of our racing sails is optimized for weight reduction where it matters most, maintaining the stiff frame essential for high-performance power and control. By moving the three top batten tensioners forward, we’ve reduced swing weight at the leech to let the top of the sail breathe more freely. Our refined reinforcements and advanced materials ensure a superior strength-to-weight ratio. While some competitors' ultra-light sails suffer from premature stretching and wear, PATRIK sails maintain their shape and performance longer. Every sail represents Swiss engineering at its finest, fully validated by our R&D team.
