GO VERTICAL ON ANY MEDIUM SIZE AND HOLLOW WAVE.

OVERVIEW

Newschool Tri-Fin Concept with three same size S-Wave fins for a true surfing-like feeling on the wave. Better planing compared to the QTS due to a lower entry rocker and more surface in the nose. Perfect in small to medium waves and hollow beach breaks that want to be ridden vertically.
More skatey than the QTS but plenty of grip for carved top turns. More nervous in longer arcs than the QTS but better upwind performance. Its agility on unpredictable waves makes this board your perfect onshore and allround travel companion. Loose and super fast with the ability to move very freely on the wave and to change your turn’s radius easily. Excellent board speed and amazing lift for big jumps. Well balanced and smooth in the chop.

DETAILS

Shape:
Vee into Single Concave into pronounced Double Concave into Tailkick Vee.
Forward widepoint with a relatively narrow squash tail.

Rider level: Medium to Advanced
The TS 73 is not recommended for heavy riders and is the medium-to-highwind choice for lighter riders.
We suggest the TS 76 as the high-wind option for heavy riders and as an allround one-board-solution for medium weight and lighter riders.

The TS 85 is the allround choice for heavy riders over 85kgs and and excellent light wind and onshore competition option for lighter riders.
We recommend the 92 for riders over 85kgs in light to medium wind winds with bigger sails. It's not recommended for lighter riders as the rails carry quite some volume.
All sizes have excellent planing abilities due to the performance rocker line and don't need to be ridden bigger to win light-wind performance.

PRO TIPS

Simon Thule

‌ SIMON THULE (Professional Surfer)
"The TS-Wave is my secret weapon for hollow waves and beach breaks.
The board is planing crazy early and the tailkick rocker allows me to adjust my turns on any critical beach break type of waves that are more difficult to read and ride. It is more nervous and alive than the QTS and works amazing with the Tri-Fin setup. For more tracking and even earlier planing you have the option to switch to Thruster or Single Fin.
While the QTS creates more drive and hold in big long arcs and turns, the TS shines on fast waves that want to be ridden in the pocket and any difficult wave conditions where current, shore break and gusty winds are demanding an early-planing board with excellent handling and good upwind performance.
